Winter Bird Walk at Deer Island

Join me for a bird walk at Deer Island! We'll walk the paved path, overlooking the Boston Harbor, searching for winter migratory waterfowl! Another favorite spot for winter birding in Boston! Expect to walk up to 3 miles on paved paths. Dress warm! It can be very cold and windy during this time. A porta potty is available midway on the platform. Limited loaner binoculars will be available on a first come, first served basis. We will meet in the first parking lot on the left. For GPS direction, use 198 Tafts Ave, Winthrop, MA.

In the event of inclement weather, the walk will be canceled, and registrants will be notified via email. If canceled, you will have the option for a full refund or to attend the rescheduled date.
