About the event
Join me for a winter bird stroll at Castle Island! Winter is a great time to see various migratory waterfowl at Castle Island. It's one of my favorite spots for winter birding in Boston! Expect to walk up to 2 miles on paved paths. Dress warm. It can be very cold and windy during this time. This event is accessible. Porta potties are available. Limited loaner binoculars will be available on a first come, first served basis. This is a free event, but registration is required.
We will meet in front of Sullivan's Castle Island, 2080 William J Day Blvd, South Boston, MA.
In the event of inclement weather, the walk will be canceled, and registrants will be notified via email.
