About the event
This is a guided bird walk with emphasis on photography. We will explore the grounds at Burrage Pond WMA looking for birds while giving you guidance and tips to help you get the best results. This isn't a beginner's bird photography walk. This walk is geared towards people who have basic knowledge of their camera. However, I will give pointers on settings and composition when necessary, and you can ask questions regarding your camera, techniques, etc.
Parking is available on Hawks Ave (off Pleasant St) Hanson, MA. For GPS navigation use, "Burrage Pond Wildlife Management Area Hawks Ave parking lot". The parking lot is near the railroad tracks.
In the event of inclement weather, the walk will be postponed, and you will have the option for a refund or to attend the new date.
