Guided Bird Photo Walk at Halibut Point State Park

Join me for a guided bird photography excursion photographing winter migratory waterfowl and other species at Halibut Point State Park! One of the main targets is the Harlequin Duck. This is a fantastic location for getting good views with great photo opportunities of this beautiful duck! This is a guided bird walk with emphasis on photography. We will explore Halibut Point SP looking for birds while giving you guidance and tips to help you get the best results. This isn't a beginner's bird photography walk. This walk is geared towards people who have basic knowledge of their camera. However, I will give pointers on settings and composition when necessary, and you can ask questions regarding your camera, techniques, etc. It will be cold so please dress warm! Expect to walk about 3 miles on dirt paths and rocky terrain with incline and decline.
