Franklin Park Bird Walk

Join me and park friends for two bird walks, scheduled on Sept 12th and Sept 26th, 8am-10am at Franklin Park. These walks are sponsored by the Franklin Park Coalition. FREE event! No registration! Just show up! Beginner birders are encouraged to join! 🙂 🐦

We will explore Scarboro Hill and pond area searching for migratory birds and year round resident birds. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Limited loaner binoculars will be available on a first come, first served basis. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and dressing for the weather conditions. Expect to walk 1-2 miles on paved paths. The nearest restrooms are at the Franklin Park Golf Course Clubhouse. In the event of heavy rain, the walk will be canceled.
